  • What is the process of purchasing?
    When you click the buy now button, you will be redirected to the check out page.  Input your details, and continue with the process.  Your new registration number will be assigned directly to your vehicle by us, please input the following details in the additional field when you are checking out. Follow this format: Current Vehicle registration number= XXXX XXX, V5C (doc ref) number = 1234 123 1234 Please note: You must ensure all the details you add, including Name and address when purchasing, are of the REGISTERED VEHICLE OWNER. This is so that we are able to assign the registration to the vehicle. If you fail to do this, the transfer will not be complete. If you have made any issues when filling in details please contact us as soon as possible: contact@alfaazplates.com IMPORTANT: The transferring process of the registration number to your Name/vehicle and your updated certificates from DVLA may take up to 3 weeks.   • Do you provide the physical number plate?
    No, we only provide the registration number!
  • How long will it take for the certification to arrive?
    The whole transfer process will take up to 3 weeks, if you have not received your new log book (V5C) after 3 weeks, please contact us at: contact@alfaazplates.com . Once we have assigned the registration to your vehicle, you can use the number plate straight away, even if your new Log Book has not arrived. We do not supply physical plates so you must find a registered number plate supplier for yourself. You can find registered suppliers on the DVLA website - https://www.gov.uk/number-plate-supplier
  • Are the private number plates compliant with DVLA guidelines and UK regulations?
    Yes, all our private registrations are in line with the DVLA guidelines and UK regulations.
  • Are the number plates refundable?
    Unfortunately, once the payment process has been completed, we cannot offer a refund. This is because we are selling rights to ownership of private registrations, and therefore we are unable to offer refunds. We recommend that you carefully consider your purchase before completing the payment process to ensure that you are satisfied with your selection.   • What is the process of selling my private number plate?
    Please complete the form on our 'Sell your number plate' page and we will contact you with further details. If you have any questions please contact us at: contact@alfaazplates.com Alfaaz Plates is temporarily not providing the selling and requesting service due to unforeseen circumstances. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will update our customers as soon as we are able to resume our services.
  • Are there any hidden costs?
    We are very transparent about our prices at Alfaaz Plates and there are no hidden costs. The price of the number plate includes the assignment fee, which is the fee charged by the government to assign the registration number to your vehicle. However, please note that we do not provide a physical number plate, so you will need to purchase that separately. If you would like to sell your private number plate which is currently registered to a car, please complete the form on our website on the 'Sell your number plate' page and we will be in contact with you.
